Do you need some personal financial advice or assistance? If it is helpful to have someone walk through a basic budget and look at your financial situation, we are here to help you. We also are able to offer some financial assistance on occasion in times of crisis.
Most of the time when we have an emotional need, we can lean on a friend, family member or community group. Sometimes however, problems become more complicated and we need the guidance of a professional. When that time comes, Mosaic Church can offer professional counseling through our partnership with Compassion Services.
Appointments can be made in our counseling rooms on our campus direct with Compassion Services. For bookings contact Compassion Services on 1300 552 367. If you would like more information on Compassion Services, please click here.
At Mosaic Church, we seek to offer practical support to real needs. We recognise that life can bring emotional and financial challenges, grief or illness and through Martha’s Kitchen we provide frozen meals and food at these times.
How can I help?
Meals are prepared and stored in the church freezer ready to distribute to those in need.
Provide a Meal
If you are able, please take an alfoil food container from the designated area in the foyer. Fill the food container with your prepared meal. List the contents on the lid e.g. Spaghetti Bolognaise – for 4 people. If you’ve prepared it with a special dietary need in mind, such as ‘dairy-free’, ‘vegetarian’, ‘gluten-free’, include this information on the lid as well.
Then, just return it to the Martha’s Kitchen box placed in the foyer.
Mention a Need
These meals lovingly care for others in need from within the church family and the community. If you know of someone who would appreciate this assistance, please drop a note into the Martha’s Kitchen box, the Response Box, email the church office email@example.com. Similarly, if you need such practical assistance, a comforting hug or just a listening ear please contact the office or drop a note into the Response Box.
Give a Donation
You may be too busy to cook a meal but would still like to assist in this encouraging ministry. Martha’s Kitchen would appreciate your donation to purchase supplies for these families in crisis.
Donate Food Items
Some families in real need sometimes will walk in off the street and Martha’s Kitchen organises small food hampers for these emergencies. These hampers are also distributed during the Christmas period. If you can contribute tins or packets of grocery items for these hampers, please drop them into the Martha’s Kitchen box in the foyer.
Quick Response Team
At times, a special need may arise for a family that requires a meal prepared quickly. At times, our supplies of prepared meals may be low; a family in need may have special dietary needs. You may feel lead to join the Martha’s Kitchen team and be available to prepare a meal when and if a need arises. If so, please note your availability and drop it into the Response Box, the Martha’s Kitchen box or contact the office.
